SAUSAGE STUFFED MUSHROOMS
(Adapted from MAGNOLIA)
Preheat oven to 375
Dust off and de-stem 15 large MUSHROOMS
In large skillet on medium high heat, brown
1/2 lb Jimmy Dean Hot SAUSAGE
then reduce heat to medium, add in
2 oz CREAM CHEESE
1/8 cup PARMESAN CHEESE
1 clove minced GARLIC
1/2 tsp ITALIAN SEASONING
1/2 tsp SALT
until melted, about 2 minutes
Set aside to cool
In separate bowl, mix
1/4 cup PANKO pork rind crumbs
1/8 cup PARMESAN CHEESE
1 tbsp melted BUTTER
1 clove minced GARLIC
Line sheet pan, coat with non stick spray/oil
Stuff the mushrooms with the filling, then the topping
Place on sheet with about 1” in between mushrooms, bake about 20 minutes
Optional, squeeze fresh LEMON JUICE on tops before serving.
