Photographing your childhood friend's children is kinda like going back in time.  The oldest daughter is about the age her mother and I used to sneak out with Garth Brooks playing at maximum volume, I distinctly remember cowboy boots and a certain gravel road we would run. 

I see a little bit of their mother in each of them, such a great opportunity and experience to work with this family :)
